About Midoki

We are an award wining mobile game development studio based in Warwickshire, the heart of the English countryside. Founded by a small team of veteran game developers in late 2011, our focus is the creation of ground-breaking, socially-connected games that deliver rich entertaining experiences to the mobile space. Midoki collaborated in SEGA Hardlight's Crazy taxi: City Rush, and has developed the award-winning games Plunder Pirates and Knighthood.

Day in the life of a Senior Producer:

As a Senior Producer at Midoki, you'll be at the forefront of planning and organising our projects, playing a pivotal role in defining and delivering ongoing releases. Your focus will be on ensuring that each release is on budget and maintains our high standards of quality. Collaboration will be key in this role - you'll work closely with discipline leads, project stakeholders, and the entire team to identify and mitigate risks to deliverables and timelines. When challenges arise, you'll escalate issues as needed, keeping the project on track.

Building and maintaining strong relationships will be a significant part of your day. You'll ensure effective communication and collaboration with our associated Publisher and any external clients, aligning their expectations with our project goals.

Throughout a typical day, you'll participate in and lead project planning sessions, ensuring that every detail is accounted for. Daily standups will be a regular part of your routine, where you'll help drive the team toward successful outcomes.

Please note, you will need to be UK based for this role (remote basis offered within the UK).

What you need to do this job:

β€’ Experience in a production role at a senior level, working on shipped/live mobile titles.

β€’ Experience with Project Management software (E.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel).

β€’ Excellent Project Management skills and understanding of various Agile methodologies.

β€’ Strong communication skills; written, verbal and presentational.

β€’ Good conflict resolution skills.

β€’ Line management skills with experience of coaching and mentoring junior Producers.

The Interview Process:

At Midoki, we want a holistic and engaging interview process that allows us to get to know you, your skills and your potential. For the Senior Producer role, we have a 2 stage interview process:

1st Stage: One hour with our Lead Producer and Operations Director. This will be a get-to -know-you style interview with competency focus.

2nd Stage: One hour with our Lead Producer and Studio Director. This is a chance for us to discuss further aspects of the role and for you to meet some more of the team here at Midoki.
