Study Skills tutors wanted! If you are bright, energetic, and eager to meet students in person, we’d love to talk with you!

Ideal study skills tutors are:

• Passionate about education
• Experienced in working with students
• Competent in algebra 1 and 8th grade English, and a college graduate
• Conscientious, punctual, reliable, and on top of organizational tasks
• Excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proactive and efficient in your work
• Team-oriented and coachable
• Enthusiastic and positive!

Study skills tutors must:

• Have a 4 year college degree
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2024/25 academic year

Since 2005, AJ Tutoring has grown almost exclusively via word of mouth because of the outstanding work of our tutors. Our goal is to provide a great tutoring experience for our students and their families, and we work hard to maintain our strong reputation in the Bay Area communities we serve.
