Power Transmission Engineer

A design and manufacturing company of high voltage transmission equipment needs to find an Electrical Engineer and Structural Engineer to work on products for the electrical transmission industry. This is a fully remote position. The company provides excellent benefits, which includes 10-20% bonus, health benefits, 6% 401K match.

I have a similar opening for someone with a Structural/Civil Engineering degree and background in Power Line Transmission projects.

• Working in collaborative teams, engage in research and development concerning electrical insulation for transmission.
• Should be knowledgeable of market practices in the design, construction, and commissioning of power transmission projects.
• Study power transmission solutions, capture business opportunities in grid projects.
• Evaluate project for best practices, government compliance, and market standards.
• Work closely with engineering, management, and operations.
• Deal with suppliers, customers, finance, sales.

Requirements

• Should have in-depth knowledge of transmission line projects up to 500 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
