Reporting and Accounting Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Reporting and Accounting Specialist with a strong background in SaaS-specific financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of non-GAAP SaaS metrics, financial statement preparation, and experience working with public companies. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, and it involves close collaboration with accounting advisors, auditors, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and distribute financial statements, reports, and footnotes in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• SaaS Metrics: Develop and maintain key SaaS-specific financial metrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency with industry standards.
• Templates & Processes: Utilize and develop financial reporting templates, ensuring they meet the needs of a growing SaaS company. Implement best practices for reporting processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the other finance team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Audit Coordination: Collaborate with accounting advisors and external auditors during financial audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Footnote Preparation: Draft detailed footnotes to accompany financial statements, ensuring clarity, compliance, and accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, enhance accuracy, and improve the efficiency of reporting cycles.
