Who you are

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team. You are passionate about supporting the FP&A team in various financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. You’ll have a FP&A team to support you in this role, plus partner and work closely with the rest of the broader business.

What you will do

Month-End Activities:

  • Bookings: Manage and validate bookings for software services.
  • Management Accounting: Perform allocations in FP&A tool and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Systems Tie-Out and maintenance: Maintain and reconcile data in Cube (FP&A software)
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis on actuals vs forecast and actuals vs budget.
  • Support: Supporting all other month-end activities as required.

Financial Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Marketing spend analysis: Track and report on marketing spend, including by channel and vendor.
  • Software spend analysis: Monitor and analyse software spend by cost driver and vendor.
  • Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of financial forecasting models to project future financial performance.
  • Assist with ad-hoc preparation of financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to management.

Commission and Incentives:

  • Prepare calculation and reporting of Commission on monthly basis and Customer Experience (CX) incentives on a quarterly basis.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Project Support: Participate in various ad-hoc projects as needed, providing analytical support and insights.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience working with Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in data analysis and formula creation
  • Strong proficiency in other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong eagerness to learn and develop within the finance function.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
  • High level of accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong team player who works well with others and fosters a collaborative work environment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities and driving solutions.

Some ‘nice to have’s:

  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Prior work experience in a FP&A role is desirable.
