We are looking for a dedicated and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage various aspects of our supply chain, ensuring that materials and components are procured, stored, and distributed efficiently to support the production of our autonomous surface vessels. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth supply chain operations and meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and manage the flow of materials and components from suppliers to production facilities. Ensure that inventory levels are adequate and that materials are delivered on time to meet production schedules.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, and placing orders. Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality supply of materials.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess. Implement inventory management best practices to optimize storage and reduce costs.
  • Production Coordination: Work closely with production teams to align supply chain activities with production needs. Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities, including orders, shipments, and inventory levels. Prepare reports on supply chain performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing supply chain processes and implementing best practices. Develop and propose solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for supply chain-related inquiries. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address any issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any problems related to supply chain operations, including delays, discrepancies, and supplier issues. Develop contingency plans to manage risks and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving goals
