ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering to join the Engineering team in an onsite position in Henderson, NV. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for transitioning new products and accessories from the R&D phase to the manufacturing phase. You will be working with the manufacturing team to implement the installation process. Your primary goal will be designing new and improve existing processes, procedures, and testing for ANA’s current and future product lines that support the equipment rental industry.

This role reports to the Director of Engineering. The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 7:00 – 4:00pm with required 25% travel to other factory locations throughout the country.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Production Process: Develop and maintain detailed standard manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy utilizing lean manufacturing principles
  • ERP: Create production BOM and routing work flow using Business Central
  • Team Dynamics: Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production team, to ensure alignment with product manufacturability and process
  • Production Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within manufacturing operations
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and inspection processes to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations and customer deliveries
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations throughout the manufacturing process
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate manufacturing process, drawings and procedure documents
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the engineering team, manufacturing team and planning team
  • Cost Control: Monitor manufacturing process to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency
  • Strategy: Strategize with all plants to define and implement assembly workflow to maintain consistently throughout the company
  • Support: Support manufacturing with stop gaps including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress, continuous improvement and procedures reports for team review
  • Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety procedures to protect the well-being of all team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field required. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with production processes and procedures
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP system, preferably Business Central and CAD software.
  • Solidworks or Autocad experience working with electrical schematics and 3D/2D mechanical models - 3 years required
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven analysis and continuous improvement
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process

$90,000 - $100,000 a year

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – 100,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
