AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Full -Time Corporate Job Coach who will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day program operations at a specific Manhattan-based business and ensuring that the highest level of quality customer service is provided to our contract partner and supported employees. The salary for the Corporate Job Coach position is $39,520 per year. The Corporate Job Coach provides on-site training, evaluation and counseling to supported employees in a variety of positions at a business workplace. Along with the Project Coordinators, the Corporate Job Coach is one of the central figures in the success of our workers with disabilities in their jobs. The job requires a high degree of scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities
The Corporate Job Coach will:
- Support individuals who are neuro-diverse to meet expectations in a corporate workspace
- Create a person-centered support plan for all individuals on their caseload that includes modeling appropriate work behaviors such as social skills, communication skills and enthusiasm for work
- Assess individuals on their caseload and provide remediation plan for support
- Create tools that will support the individual to succeed at work
- Act as a liaison with employers, co-workers and other relevant parties to insure a satisfying and successful work experience for our program participants
- Provide hands-on, physical work in the process of job coaching
- Corporate Job Coaches are required to spend their time on-site with supported employees at business' workplace
Requirements
- B.A. / B.S. required, with preferences in field of education, human services, or counseling
- One year of experience as a job coach in the AHRC NYC's Hire program or 2 years of comparable experience in the supported employment field or working with individuals with disability
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal/negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently
