As a DevOps Engineer, your role is to support and maintain the company’s internal and production systems. You'll assist with release management, automation tasks, system maintenance, and security and configuration activities. In essence, you'll serve as a "build, deployment, and infrastructure automation engineer."
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring high availability of internal and production systems.
- Implementing and maintaining performance, optimization, and capacity standards for Linux/Windows server technologies company-wide.
- Developing and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams.
- Performing software deployments and releases.
- Participating in on-call coverage for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
- Resolving network issues in the absence of existing System/Network Admin staff.
- Assisting developers and QA Engineers in applying testing environment changes including making DB updates, property changes, and others.
