Intermediate Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Business Advisory team and work alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially-minded professionals. In this permanent, full-time position, you'll play a crucial role in BlueRock's success and partner with some of Melbourne's coolest entrepreneurial business owners.

A day in the life of an Accountant?

Working with a diverse range of clients on everything from:

• Tax planning and general advice
• Financial modelling
• Attend client meetings with senior members of your team

From a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparing and lodging BASs, IAS, FBT Returns
• Preparing and assisting clients with other statutory obligations such as payroll tax and Workcover

Requirements

We want to hear from rockstars who have:

• 1-2 years experience with a mid-tier firm working with SME's
• A degree qualification and CA completion (or near completion)
• Excellent problem solving skills and exposure to financial modelling engagements including budgeting, cashflow forecasting and valuations
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills
