A challenging opportunity has arisen for a talented candidate with a strong experience in fund management to join their highly experienced and professional teams in Luxembourg City.

Your mission

You will be based in Luxembourg City (Glacis) on a full-time permanent basis in a team of 5 permanent staff.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure high quality service delivery for clients (internal & external) and business partner satisfaction regarding the accurate and complete processing of daily fund in-and-outflows and quarterly rebate calculations, to produce the daily senior management and cash flows reports and to act as a coordinator for the management company by:

  • Liaising with relevant teams regarding the daily subscription and redemption process for Luxembourg, France and UK range of funds.
  • Ensuring reconciliation controls of transactions, asset under management versus net inflows (for professional clients, private clients, mandates and off-distribution perimeters).
  • Ongoing development and reinforcement of the quality checks and proposing smart solutions to reduce recurring issues.
  • Mapping granular flows received from distributors and platforms to allocate the amounts to the right client account collaborating with the sales team.
  • Proactively interacting with the sales team to troubleshoot flows reallocation.
  • Giving more insight to the relevant business teams and top management via dashboarding to contribute to business development in a “business-oriented spirit”.
  • Processing of static data updates between the CRM tool and rebates calculation tools.
  • Running the process of quarterly rebates and payments to the distribution network.
  • Actively participating to the fund event oversight activities with the providers (TA and centralising agents).
  • Maintaining regular relationships with the key distributors (AFB, MFEX, CFC, Fund Channel, etc.) on all aspects relating to rebate payments.
  • Identifying and contributing to process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master degree in finance, accounting or IT
  • Fluent in English, French being a strong asset
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Significant experience of at least 3 years in Asset Management in a role linked to EU fund distribution
  • Experience in business analysis, with exposure to asset management and data visualisation is a plus
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with fund distributors and platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel advanced and VBA)
  • At least intermediate proficiency with SQL
  • Any data-oriented language is a plus (Python, C#)
