Position Summary

The Alumni Network Associate will play a pivotal role in cultivating, strengthening, and maintaining our growing community of LFG alumni. This individual will design and implement programs and services that engage and support alumni, fostering lifelong connections to Lead For Ghana.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Alumni Engagement:
    • Help develop and manage alumni engagement strategies and programs.
    • Organize reunions, networking events, workshops, and other alumni-focused activities.
    • Facilitate alumni involvement in organizational initiatives.
  2. Database Management:
    • Help maintain an updated alumni database, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Track and report on alumni engagement metrics.
  3. Communication:
    • Establish and maintain regular communication with alumni through newsletters, social media, and other platforms.
    • Highlight alumni achievements and stories.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Marketing & Media team to promote alumni stories and events.
    • Collaborate with the Leadership Growth and other internal teams to ensure integrated strategies.
  5. Mentorship Programs:
    • Help manage mentorship programs linking alumni with current students or young professionals.
  6. Partnerships:
    • Support the process of building partnerships with organizations and institutions for alumni benefits and opportunities.
    • Help facilitate opportunities for alumni to give back, whether through donations, volunteerism, or other avenues.
  7. Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
    • Gather feedback from alumni to continually refine and improve engagement efforts.

    • Stay updated with best practices in alumni relations and integrate them into strategies.

Education and Experience

  • Graduate /Professional Degree in Communications or related studies preferred.

  • Undergraduate Degree with, at least, 2-years experience, desired.

  • Experience delivering meaningful, and high impact lessons, workshops, and networking events.

NB: The position requires occasional evening and weekend work to ensure effective outcomes.
