We are looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to support our Human Resources Director in planning, leading, directing, and developing company policies, practices, and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
- Support the administration of HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, and performance management.
- Gain a strong understanding of benefit plans and leave compliance, including health and wellness, pensions, disability, and workers' compensation.
- Assist in handling administrative processing of employee changes in the HRIS.
- Support the crafting and management of internal and external communications to meet HR objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR practices and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
