Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing key operational functions, optimizing processes, and ensuring accurate data input and management within the Salesforce CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team, providing operational and administrative support to streamline sales processes and help ensure accurate pipeline data
  • Perform weekly pipeline reviews across the product set to help ensure realistic close and revenue start dates
  • Dealing with day to day queries and requests, providing information to the team as and when needed, and updating Sales Force to support the sales team.
  • Salesforce Management:
  • Ensure data integrity withing the Salesforce CRM system, accurate reporting, and user sales support.
  • Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to support sales activities and decision-making processes.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to sales team members on Salesforce usage and best practices.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Prepare weekly sales reports for the leadership team, including key metrics, sales performance, and pipeline analysis.
  • Analyze pipeline and sales data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the sales operations function.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Document and communicate changes to sales processes, ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, onboarding, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications or MVNO industry.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other sales tools.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Attributes:
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
