The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the in-house Service Department at our head office. This is a varied role comprising product repairs, communicating with customers and helping our world-wide service network serve our global customer base, all while looking for opportunities to improve product reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Repairing Focusrite, Focusrite Pro and Novation products by evaluating units, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs to a component level and testing devices.
• Responding to customer and external service partner inquiries with remote diagnosis and repair advice via email and telephone.
• Ensure effective turnaround of products through the department.
• Continually working to improve our systems and processes to deliver the above.
• Creating service documentation to support our Global Service Network.
• Continually working to improve our systems and processes to deliver the above.

Abilities, Skills and experience required:

• A keen appetite to learn new skills.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Detail focussed, and able to identify trends.
• A polite and helpful phone and email manner.
• Collaborative personality, working well as part of a team.
• Experience with music technology products and digital audio workstations.
• Interest in electronics and fixing products.
• Experience with Windows systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Mac OSX systems.

Desirable:

• Formal electronics education.
• Previous experience with sales administration applications.
