Site Reliability Engineer II

What you’ll do?

Within the SRE Team you can work with AWS technologies and Linux operating systems.

We are not only dealing with AWS technology, but also heading towards CI/CD and constantly improving our systems by securing services and enabling our organizations to utilize the infrastructure we provide to our internal customers. The team is not only responsible for maintaining the infrastructure setup but also operating our applications and services within the AWS Cloud.

Responsibilities also include:

• Assume end-to-end responsibility for managing the infrastructure and various applications.
• Create sustainable and scalable infrastructure on AWS using automation tools such as Terraform.
• Plan, test, and deploy operating system patches and service packs to ensure optimal system performance and security.
• Provide operational support, taking full responsibility for the infrastructure, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Enhance our technology landscape by containerizing specific applications to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Conduct thorough reviews of Terraform code to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality standards.

Tech Stack:

Terraform, AWS technologies (EC2, EKS, ECS, EFS, EBS, FSx, S3, and a lot more), Linux, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Prometeus, Opensearch, Puppet, Katello, Jenkins and Jenkins DSL.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

• B.Tech/B.E/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• 4-7 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role.
• Proficient in Linux Administration.
• Skilled in creating and configuring AMIs based on Linux images.
• Capable of troubleshooting issues within AWS and its applications.
• Experience in AWS Cloud Services is Must.
• Proficient in Terraform.
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Enthusiastic about modern technologies.
• Able to work independently within an agile team.
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.
