The Challenge
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess our software & game quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases, test plans and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
What You Can Expect to Work On:
- Create, execute test cases and analyse results to help ensure the quality of the product
- Develop and follow test plans efficiently
- Create logs to document testing phases, defects, and track bugs
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Proactively demonstrate initiative, and help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience: Proven experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the gaming industry or similar role. Experience testing with multiplayer games is a plus.
- Technical Skills : Familiar with project management and QA methodologies, as well as software like Jira, Notion, Asana, Shotgun, Excel, Project, Confluence, or equivalents. Must also have experience with Unreal Engine.
- Communication : Ability to communicate with stakeholders and the team as a whole in an effective and concise manner
- People Management: Able to work as part of a team, and proven record of cross functional collaboration
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mind, Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- NFT & Blockchain : Experience in working NFTs and blockchain technology/industry is a plus
