Clarion’s Digital Marketing Division is the home of market-leading brands Affiliate Summit, Traffic & Conversion Summit & Creator Economy Live. This role will work across the portfolio but primarily on Traffic & Conversion Summit.

Affiliate Summit run the largest affiliate events in the world attracting thousands of advertisers, networks, agencies and affiliates from the US and around the globe.

Affiliate Summit runs twice a year on the East and West Coast (hello, NYC and Vegas). In 2023 we launched Creator Economy Live – the first and largest event to focus on influencer marketing for enterprise brands – alongside the West coast edition.

Traffic & Conversion Summit is the biggest independent digital marketing conference in North America, we have a mind-blowing pedigree of speakers including Richard Branson, Magic Johnson, Martha Stewart, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

We don’t run your typical conference, so if you’re looking for a bunch of folks in grey suits, we might not be for you. We bring together SMEs, bloggers, Instagram influencers and the world’s largest ecommerce brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the digital marketing industry and creator economy, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the digital marketing and affiliate space.
  • Conduct regular customer research projects, documenting insights and presenting findings to influence marketing, sales, operations, and customer success strategies.
  • Leverage business intelligence and customer feedback to propose and implement innovative conference program ideas, assessing their success post-event.
  • Actively participate in industry events to build relationships and gain market insights, contributing to continuous learning and development.
  • Design and produce content for event agenda tracks and demo stages, introducing innovative programming formats to distinguish the events from competitors.
  • Create compelling and commercially attractive event agendas that align with the organization's tone of voice and appeal to target audience demographics, while also generating sponsorship opportunities.
  • Streamline event programming processes to enhance collaboration and efficiency across teams.
  • Recruit, confirm, and manage high-profile speakers, ensuring presentations align with event objectives and deliver key takeaways for the audience.
  • Oversee speaker logistics and manage content tracks on-site at events, ensuring all programming is executed smoothly and contractual obligations are met.
  • Collaborate with content marketing teams to create and coordinate digital content such as articles, webinars, blogs, and roundtables that are aligned with event agendas and customer research, managing deadlines and contributions from freelancers and speakers.

  • Proven Content Production Experience: Demonstrated experience in producing content for commercial events, with a strong understanding of what drives attendee engagement and value.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: A precise and thorough approach to work, ensuring that all aspects of event planning and execution are handled with care and accuracy.
  • Passion for Digital Marketing: A deep interest in and understanding of the digital marketing industry, staying updated on trends and developments that impact the sector.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of clearly conveying content strategies to diverse stakeholders across global locations. Proactive in ensuring alignment and clarity in all interactions.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker who can analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions to challenges that arise in event production and programming.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Ability to work across different time zones and adapt to changing circumstances, including the need for occasional travel to support events.
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the capacity to manage complex projects involving up to 100 speakers, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
  • Strong Multitasking Abilities: Competent in managing multiple tasks and meeting various deadlines simultaneously, without compromising on quality.
  • Copywriting and Editing Proficiency: Skilled in writing and editing content, ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and aligned with the overall event and marketing objectives.
