Quality Assurance Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Quality Assurance Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures;
• Provision of quality plans and service level agreements;
• IS Quality control and evaluation;
• Provision of quality studies, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information system projects;
• Definition, elaboration, management and reporting of quality tests;
• Advice on quality improvements;
• Assistance in the implementation of project management methodology;
• Coordination of test campaigns.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 14 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 5 years of experience in defining and documenting Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Results;
• At least 5 years of experience in Executing Manual Tests;
• Experience with quality procedures;
• Experience in the test data management with relational databases;
• Good knowledge of information system quality assurance and quality control practices;
• Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle;
• Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile);
• Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools;
• Certificate in ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent is mandatory;
• Excellent command of the English language.
