Software Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Software engineer, you will join our Dorset team to support our activities within the Defence sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain software components for sonar and radar systems.
• Apply C++ programming expertise to create efficient and reliable code.
• Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines to ensure system integration.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of software modules.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sonar and radar technology.

Requirements

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of defence industry standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with MATLAB or Simulink.
• Eligibility for SC clearance (UKEO), with a proactive and can-do attitude.
