ABOUT THE ROLE
The DevOps Engineer (2-4 years) will have a solid understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and automation tools, along with strong experience in cloud platforms. They will be responsible for deploying, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance across all environments. Additionally, they must be able to quickly troubleshoot issues and adapt to evolving DevOps tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Kubernetes Management:
- Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters across EKS, GKE, and self-managed environments.
- Optimize Kubernetes configurations for high availability and performance.
Cloud Operations
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and maintain cloud resources, including VPCs, EC2 instances, load balancers, and databases.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments.
Monitoring and Logging
- Set up and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure infrastructure health and performance.
- Integrate logging solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for monitoring and logging.
CI/CD Operations
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins.
- Automate deployment processes for various environments.
- Ensure smooth and efficient software delivery through continuous integration and deployment.
Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Respond to and mitigate production incidents.
Scaling and Optimization
- Design and implement strategies for scaling infrastructure to handle growth.
- Optimize resource utilization and cost management.
- Work with development teams to ensure applications are scalable and resilient.
Linux Administration
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and environments.
- Automate server provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Ensure system security, performance, and reliability.
