Software Quality Analyst

**Purpose Statement: The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, implement testing strategies, and lead the quality improvement initiatives. The Software Quality Analyst works as a bridge between the software development team and leadership staff within the business to ensure that the information system being developed is meeting the business needs and the documented specifications.

**Key Job Accountabilities:

• Quality Assurance Support: Assist senior quality analysts in executing test cases and quality assurance activities to identify and report software defects, contributing to product quality
• Test Documentation: Participate in creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of different aspects of the software
• Defect Reporting: Work alongside senior analysts to document and track defects, providing clear and concise information to assist developers in resolving issues.
• Automated Testing: Assist to develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency in identifying defects.
• Learning and Development: Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in software testing methodologies and tools

**Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.

**Other Qualifications:

• ISTQB Foundation Level is desirable
• Agile and Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
• Experience in computing systems is highly desirable
