Be part of the movement - and play your part. About the role In our Technology & Innovation division we have adopted a matrix organization rooted in Tribes and Chapters. A Tribe is a group of scrum teams working on a related business area defined by a common mission and purpose. The other side of the matrix is organized into chapters, which are groups of people working in the same craft, which again are grouped in larger areas, like Software Engineering and User Experience & Frontend Engineering.

We are currently looking for our new Area Lead for the User Experience & Frontend Engineering area, who will be managing our Frontend Engineering, Quality Assurance, and UX & Design Teams which currently consists of 5 managers and 40 employees.

As our Area Lead you will, in close collaboration with stakeholders set the standard and strategy to ensure both excellence in our development- practices and capabilities and alignment with our digitization strategy. You will join the Competence & Engineering leadership team, which is a part of our Technology & Innovation division at DFDS.

About you We are looking for an experienced manager with strong technical expertise in frontend technologies, user experience design, and quality assurance. We do not expect you to know every technical detail, however, you must be curious and passionate about digital solutions, how they designed and are working.

• You are well versed in user experience design and quality to ensure products, services, or digital experiences are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs, expectations, and quality standards.
