Director of Communications

Sysco (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF & Medina) has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Communications – Europe, to lead the development and execution of communications strategies for both Sysco GB and Sysco’s businesses in Europe. The successful candidate will provide accessible, effective, relevant and engaging internal and external corporate communications which enhance and protect Sysco’s reputation, generate engagement and increase advocacy. Reporting to the VP of Communications and part of the Global Communications Leadership Team, this is a key role, responsible for developing and implementing targeted communications strategies, plans and programs to help achieve business objectives whilst serving as a trusted partner and providing support to European and GB Executives and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of Sysco GB & European communications strategy, as well as provide senior communications counsel and support.
• Partner successfully with the Sysco GB & Europe Leadership Team, building trust and act as a coach/guide on how to communicate/story-tell effectively.
