The Brand Activations team designs and executes market-leading activations and consumer experiences that enable our clients to connect with their target audience. By tapping into their passion points, we create highly engaging and meaningful interactions that drive strong connections and brand loyalty. As a Trainee, you will help us develop many of the components involved in producing in-person events for corporate clients. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct research and develop recommendations for client presentations, including engagement activities, venues, vendor partners, etc.
  • Contribute to concept decks, activation plans and post-event reports for clients by providing creative thinking and critical feedback to support Managers
  • Support vendor outreach and logistics management
  • Recommend event gifting, giveaways and swag, including product sourcing and fulfillment
  • Maintain important documents, specifically status reports and meeting notes
  • Manage shipping and receiving logistics
  • Process event invoices and assist in reconciling budgets
  • Travel (including weekend travel) may be required based on account needs

QUICK FACTS:

  • This role requires at minimum one day in office a week in Toronto, ON, CA along with other days as needed.

  • You will report to someone more senior on the team.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or other related field of study. Degree/certificate in Sports Management would be considered a valuable asset
  • Interest in sports sponsorship and activation events; previous experience as a Brand Ambassador considered an asset
  • Contribute to ideas and solutions that lead to the success of the MKTG team and client accounts
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends & outdoors in a Canadian climate as required

Additional information

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$45,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
