As a BA ESG data you will play a vital role in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks across the credit cycle to support clients and business units globally. You will bridge the gap between business needs, data, and technology, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance business strategies and ensure compliance with ESG standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ESG and Climate Risks Knowledge:
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of ESG and climate risks that impact business operations.
    • Utilize this knowledge to inform and enhance business strategies and decision-making processes.
  2. Data Analytics and Processing:
    • Utilize data analytics skills to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
    • Apply data-driven approaches to support decision-making and optimize business processes.
    • Work closely with data scientists and IT teams to improve data quality and reporting capabilities.
  3. Analytical Skills and Regulatory Translation:
    • Translate complex ESG regulations into actionable standards and requirements for the organization.
    • Analyze regulatory changes and evaluate their impact on business processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant ESG standards.

Core Duties:

  • Gather Requirements on ESG Data:
    • Collect and document requirements related to ESG data across the bank to effectively manage both bank and customer risks associated with ESG factors.
  • Architectural Collaboration:
    • Contribute to drafting the architecture for structurally embedding, obtaining, and disclosing ESG data foundations within all relevant bank processes.
  • Cross-Bank Alignment:
    • Align with peers across various departments to ensure all ESG data requirements are addressed and solutions are well-suited for their intended purposes.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ESG and climate risks.
  • Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Additional information

Familiarity with geospatial data, energy labels, and their applications in risk management is an advantage.
