An exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join a team who are dedicated to developing, building, and delivering data science products that offer valuable insights and tackle real business challenges,
As part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of gathering and analysing data, crafting and implementing data science models, and presenting game-changing insights to stakeholders. We push the envelope on what's possible, pioneering new and novel data science techniques.
Our team's focus areas include implementing generative AI to support our stakeholders, building recommendation and personalisation solutions, and forecasting key metrics to empower data-driven decision-making.
You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others.
Day to day you will;
- Analyse large and complex data sets to uncover insights and trends.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to design and implement innovative solutions that support business objectives.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
- Conduct data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
- Create and present clear and concise reports, visualisations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Use data visualisation tools to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
Essential qualifications, experience & skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable;
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Big Query or Spark.
- Understanding of media industry metrics and analytics.
- Experience in A/B testing and experimental design.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
