Job Title: Design Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Taipei, Taiwan

JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to ensure that all engineering design intent, process, and quality requirements are met through measuring and continuous monitoring against NZXT’s environmental and performance test requirements which are set up by this position and the engineering team. The position will also maintain and improve the products and processes while ensuring all specifications (performance, costs, and timing) adhere to the needs of NZXT and its customers.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, document via specifications, and maintain NZXT’s environmental and performance test requirements and pass/fail criteria – for example, thermal profile, temperature and humidity, thermal shock, product and packaging shock, drop and vibration, paint, pad/silk printing and plastic durability, etc.
• Monitor the current production product and process quality results; define and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Monitor and maintain compliance of data for production processes and standards for process control.
• Assist Operations in the monitoring and resolution of current production problems by analyzing product/process quality results, developing improvement plans, and taking actions as design guidelines for new products.
• Contribute to the continuing evolution of the Engineering and Operations processes.
• Review and ensure all the validations are satisfied NZXT’s development rule at each important phase and before moving forward.
• Early engage product development phase to mitigate risks by several tools, NUDD/PDCA, etc.
• Be the gatekeepers of the design phase, work closely with the entire project development, and make the mass production smooth for the operation team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a consumer electronics manufacturing facility.
• Experience with Planning and forecasting with a focus on efficiencies.
• Experience with PPAP, FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage Rand R studies, Design of experiments, as well as applicable Statistical techniques to maintain product capability.
• Experience with reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
• Experience with Implementing the technical means for process control on key parameters and create and/or optimize Quality Assurance process inspections and test procedures for production processes
• Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
