The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and hereโ€™s how the Global Pricing Strategist, Strategic Products โ€“ Based Anywhere in Europe role will make an impact:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review of List price IRP (International Reference Price) requests, impact and risks (financial and non-financial) and provide recommendations on price approval or rejection for Key Strategic selected products.
  • Prepare full assessment and analysis which may include the IRP financial impact estimates and other reviews, like M-share, Gross Profit, margins, patient impact, reputational risks, confirmation of legal review, etc.
  • Draft the summary with recommendations for the escalation to the Regional and Executive Pricing Committees.
  • Maintain data accuracy for informed decisions, price data quality and audits on country input.
  • Challenge and support local markets on price decisions and on price risks that can be avoided.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing, Market Access and Regional Teams to establish floor prices and price corridors for selected products.
  • Support Regional Market Access and other functions to provide pricing input to selected BD projects (e.g. Price estimates / launch sequencing / IRP risks).
  • Proactively analyze future price risks and acts on suggested path to mitigate risks and track its implementation.
  • Assist other functions (e.g. Brand Equity Teams, Market Access) with pricing matters related to products under his/her responsibility.
  • Work closely and very collaborative within the Global and Regional Pricing teams to ensure our internal customers needs are fulfilled as expected.
  • Support Regional projects on pricing matters as assigned.
  • Support enhancement and testing of pricing systems updates as needed.

The qualifications for this role are:

  • Required experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Preference for candidates with Pharma Pricing previous experience.
  • IRP (international Reference Price) previous experience desirable.
  • Previous pharma commercial responsibility and experience would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable to synthetize complex issues and communicate properly.
  • Strong knowledge on Microsoft Excel tool.
  • Pricing experience on supporting BD (Business Development) and launches would be a plus.
  • Ability to work across multiple functional teams and markets, leading without authority.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
  • Major in business, economic or related area is preferred.
  • Regional or Global experience would be a plus.
