🔎 We are looking for:

Are you an experienced expert in Control & Automation systems with a passion for project work and technical development? Do you enjoy tackling complex challenges? We are looking for a Chief Project Engineer with a background in Control & Automation Engineering for our customer in Vaasa. The employment relationship is initially fixed-term, lasting six months, but longer-term employment is also possible.

📍 Location: Vaasa, Finland

📝 As Chief Project Engineer, you will:

• Be a representative of our customer and have technical ownership of assigned tasks or projects

• Handle functional descriptions of Control & Automation systems.

• Plan and safeguard execution of activities with the total cost, schedule, and customer-specific needs in focus according to standards, contract requirements, and instructions

• Identify, mitigate, monitor, and report risks, quality issues, use of resources, cost, schedule, and scope issues in projects, for products, and work processes

• Coordinate engineering & purchasing activities according to the project schedule in cooperation with the project team.

• Write and handle technical documents.
  Participate in customer/stakeholder negotiations when needed and maintain strong customer/stakeholder relationship

🎓 Your education and language skills:

• Education in Electrical or Automation Engineering (BSc or MSc)
• Excellent spoken and written English skills; Finnish skills are considered an advantage.

🏆 To succeed, you have:

• Deep knowledge of Control & Automation systems and technical project management.

• Experience working in a power plant environment.

• Strong skills in writing and managing technical documents.

• Expertise in the technical management, design, and execution of projects.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and lead technical activities in customer-facing situations.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders.
