Play a pivotal role in our business

As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will prepare proposals/bids aligned with technical requirements and specifications, contract negotiation, compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing proposals; negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation

• Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice

• Contributing to prices and conditions to have a degree of granularity. Works on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions

• Handling diverse clients in a region

• Handling special projects as required

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's from an accredited institution or relevant qualifications in industrial, energy, structural engineering areas
• Have proven sales experience
• Have proven proposals experience
• Have an understanding of Condition Monitoring technology (electronic/measuring equipment)
• Be fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK
• Being proficient in German/Dutch/Norwegian is highly desirable
• Have excellent oral and written communication skill
• Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skill
• Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Have effective problem identification and solution skill
• Have proven analytical and organizational ability
