Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Experian Data Quality team and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our market leading suite of data management products. We are looking for a holistic approach to troubleshooting and a natural need to improve, harden, and automate tasks to prevent and recover from outages or other customer issues.

What you'll do?

• Develop and implement monitoring solutions to resolve issues;
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and visualizations to provide real-time insights into system health and performance;
• Analyze telemetry data to identify and address potential issues before they influence customers;
• Collaborate with engineering to design and implement reliable scalable, and maintainable services;
• Implement and advocate for best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and configuration management;
• Work with teams to foster a culture of reliability and continuous improvement;
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

What you'll bring?

• More than 5 Years' experience supporting complex, scaled systems;
• Experience with main architectural principles such as high availability, disaster recovery, and platform resiliency;
• Experience with incident management and SRE best practices;
• Proficiency in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar;
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure;
• Experience of Containerisation with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS;
• Scripting and IaC automation experience with Terraform or CloudFormation desirable;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps desirable);
• Ability to improve.
