This position is specifically dedicated to our Innovation team.

What is our Innovation team?

The Innovation team is where we push the boundaries and build new products from the ground up. It's also where we build the AI capabilities for Workleap. With a startup mindset but deeper pockets and more field experience, the Innovation team constantly faces the unknown with agility and intensity.

So, wat will your new role look like?

As a senior developer, you will work on new products, and AI capabilities within the Innovation team. By building new innovative experiences from scratch, you will work closely with the co-founders, product manager, designers, data scientists, data engineers and other developers. It's a very hands-on role, touching all aspects of shipping products: devops, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

You will be responsible to:

• Develop new features.
• Design to solve the toughest technical problems.
• Wear many hats, be flexible enough to tackle the most important issues.
• Make sure to keep a clean architecture and implementation.
• Provide great support to our early adopters.

A typical week?

• Developing new value / features ; 60%.
• Design, architecture, technical feedback ; 25%.
• Support our early adopters : 10%.
• Team meetings and rituals: 5%.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

• Build new features for our brand-new products.
• Collaborate with the platform team and brainstorm solutions.
• Maintain and improve development practices at the lab.

Qualifications

• You have solid skills in back-end software development using Azure, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, C#, .NET, MongoDB;
• You have good skills in front-end software development using TypeScript, React and CSS;
• Experience working with DDD and TDD;
• Master of SOLID, KISS, and YAGNI principles;
• Capable of writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests;
• You can easily break down complex technical concepts, communicate them simply to stakeholders or the team;
• You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in software architecture, including performance, security, and usability;
• You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers;
• You're very autonomous, high agency, great to work with;
• Experience in start-up environments will be considered a bonus.
