The Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and talented technologist to join us as a member of our Network Engineering team. The team is responsible for the architecture, design, administration and support of our global network infrastructure. What you’ll do The Network Engineer will help support and expand the networking environment at Schonfeld. You will research requirements and interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement and deploy our global network infrastructure. You will participate in the implementation, operations and troubleshooting of our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has the ability to consistently apply broad knowledge of network administration to the diagnosis and resolution of network problems.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

• At minimum, 3 years of experience in a network engineering role focusing on enterprise network design and administration
• Expert level knowledge with routing and switching in a Cisco/Arista environment
• Experience with Next Gen Firewalls - Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Detailed knowledge of network (BGP) and application layer protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS)
• Experience with user authentication and network security products and technologies
• Experience supporting Linux infrastructure

We’d love if you had:

• CCIE
• Experience with cloud - AWS
• Experience with network disaster recovery
• Financial Services experience
