As a Test Engineer, you will be in charge of :
- Create test policies, strategies, concepts, plans, methods, processes, and scripts, ensuring alignment with norms and standards.
- Decide on the implementation and configuration of the test environment.
- Establish and maintain appropriate configuration management of test equipment for tracking tests performed.
- Define and review test objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide and verify required test resources (personnel, methods/processes, and tools).
- Define and assign test roles within the team.
- Ensure all test activities (planning, design, coordination, and execution) are carried out effectively.
- Estimate and plan the test effort, including time, effort, costs, and personnel.
- Prepare deviation and bottleneck analyses (deviations from the test concept, plan, and script) and initiate measures to address these issues.
- Introduce appropriate metrics to measure test progress and evaluate the quality of testing and the product.
- Inform stakeholders about test progress and create detailed test reports.
- Ensure quality management within the testing process.
- Ensure a continuous improvement process within test processes.
- Run tests and ensure the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Experience in creating and managing test policies, strategies, and plans.
- Familiarity with configuration management and test environment setup.
- Proficiency in using various testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to estimate and plan test efforts effectively.
- Familiarity with quality management standards and continuous improvement practices.
- Regarding the language fluency, French and German are preferable, English is a must.
- You are certified HERMES or TOGAF.
