At HomeToGo, we are entering the next growth stage of continuously driving success as a world-class operating system in the vacation rental sector. Our Data Platform plays a crucial role in our scaling efforts as it provides the building blocks for our domain data teams: (Data Analytics, Data/Analytical Engineering, Data Science) to push their Data Products quickly, independently, and efficiently.

To take activities & solutions to the next level, we are looking for a senior professional to push our Data Modelling efforts, company standards and upcoming use cases like a semantic layer or LLM code assistant use cases to the next level.

As an individual contributor, you will join our existing Data and ML Platform team of four people to take lead on everything Data Warehouse related and support use cases for existing data services like Airflow, Superset, Snowplow, Airbyte or Anomalo. Be part when we develop further cutting-edge frameworks for stream solutions using Kafka or Flink allowing our engineering and data teams to create resilient data pipelines with clear data contracts.

How you’ll add value:

• Ensure the Data Warehouse remains the primary source of truth for company data, managing data model complexity and addressing technical/analytical debt early.
• Collaborate with our data domain teams (20+ people) to adjust and optimize data models. Act as an enabler to extract more value of the data products we are building in an efficient way; set modeling standard and best practices across the organization
• Support advanced use cases such as LLMs, Driver Tree, and Headless BI by tightening the Data Model and increasing the Metadata utilization
• Manage and Improve Snowflake governance, e.g. cost control or PII handling measures to ensure budget adherence, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Have strong experience in Data Modelling and Architecture (Kimball, Data Vault, Inmon, OBT, etc.), Data Testing, Medallion Architecture etc. for structured and unstructured data
• Are an expert in SQL (incl. performance optimisation) and Python
• Bring cloud DWH experience (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Familiar with data orchestration frameworks like dbt and Apache Airflow
• Are interested in learning more about platform components like CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, Governance, AWS
• Are fluent in English
