Information Security Engineer

Project Description

The job entails managing the company's key InfoSec processes such as vulnerability management, SIEM, SOC, compliance management, patch management, and leading key InfoSec projects. As part of your role, you will be responsible for managing projects and the people involved in them, consulting with stakeholders, developing security procedures/policies for the company, and completing required training.

What You'll Do

• Perform personal daily and weekly planning;
• Study and discover new areas in the Information Security domain;

Job Requirements

• 5+ years' overall experience in the IT industry;
• 3+ years in the Information Security area;
• ‘Process’ knowledge – how to develop & implement InfoSec processes;
• Understanding of security processes such as risk management, incident management, access management etc. (e.g. in accordance with ISO 27001/27002);
• Knowledge of modern InfoSec standards, best practices, and frameworks, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST;
• Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and the ability to leverage threat intelligence for proactive security measures;
• Knowledge of system technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, SMB etc.), network technologies (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and other network protocols);
• Understanding of security technologies and concepts like SIEM, NGFW, patching, vulnerability assessment, antivirus/EDR;
• Level of English - from Intermediate (spoken/written);
• Knowledge of Russian will be a plus;
• Knowledge of IT security - penetration testing, ability to install and customize DLP and other InfoSec tools will be a plus;
• Experience with securing AWS cloud environments and understanding cloud security principles and practices will be a plus;
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security +, CISA will be a plus;
