Senior Systems Engineer

Bracebridge Capital, LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT/infrastructure team. The IT organization is scaling systems, processes, and approaches to meet the growing needs of our firm and its daily operation. The ideal candidate enjoys technology, learning, and expanding their involvement in the areas of Windows desktop/server platforms, virtualization, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Networking, and Cloud infrastructure. Candidates should be interested in joining a vibrant team at an exciting period in its evolution, with a strong drive towards detail and quality. The position plays an important role within the organization supporting our expanding user base and technology platform. This is an opportunity that would allow a successful candidate to work with world-class technology, own larger infrastructure projects, and provide mentorship to team members.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Provide daily support for Bracebridge’s infrastructure environment used for trading and firm operations
• Hands-on technical work including installation, operation, and troubleshooting of a wide array of technologies and applications
• Deployment of secure, scalable, and highly available architectures
• Design, build, maintain and support network and IT infrastructure
• Implementation and maintenance of robust security measures by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data through regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and proactive risk mitigation strategies

Requirements Include:

• Over 10 years of experience in managing and supporting enterprise infrastructures
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Hybrid Cloud, Azure
• Experience with system automations
• Experience with virtualization; Citrix exposure is a plus
• Experience with system administration of Windows servers and desktops, and desktop applications
• Experience with networking architectures, with a strong emphasis on security measures and protocols.
• Exposure to PowerShell or other shell scripting or programming languages, or process automation tools
• Proven ability to lead and manage large infrastructure projects
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with team and users
• Strong documentation skills to create consistent, repeatable processes
• Proactive approach to technology and operational improvements
• Strong analytical and debugging skills to solve complex technology issues
