About the Role:

The ADI Industrial Team (Wilmington, MA) is seeking an experienced Principal Analog Design Engineer with high speed, fine-line analog CMOS experience for the IC development of new products. The candidate will collaborate in evolving an industry leading the Industrial portfolio into new and more highly integrated market segments. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop system level designs on chiplets working with high-speed analog BiCMOS SiGe and fine line CMOS processes and collaborate closely with an experienced and motivated development team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop broadband passive and active components.
  • Work on RF transmission lines and wideband matching networks.
  • Develop RF CMOS building blocks such as amplifiers, clock receivers, TIAs, and detectors.
  • Collaborate on die/laminate co-design projects.
  • Design high-speed I/O and cross-domain ESD protection.
  • Integrate SERDES, RF CMOS, or data converter designs.
  • Work with FinFET (16nm, 5nm) or fine-line planar analog CMOS (28 nm) technologies.
  • Contribute to software-defined CMOS communications or radar system design.
  • Implement digitally-assisted high-speed analog design techniques.
  • Present design concepts and results effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Master’s degree (MSEE) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in analog design and design integration.
  • Proven experience with SERDES, RF CMOS, or data converter design.
  • Expertise in FinFET (16nm, 5nm) or fine-line planar analog CMOS (28 nm).
  • Experience in software-defined CMOS communications or radar system design.
  • Proficiency in digitally-assisted high-speed analog design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for innovation.
