Your Mission

Build the future of the Uniswap ecosystem. Uniswap v4 brings unprecedented flexibility and opportunities with hooks. This shift aims to transform Uniswap from an application protocol to a platform protocol, making developers first-class citizens. To lead this transformation, Uniswap Foundation is searching for a passionate and charismatic Head of Developer Relations who can dream up revolutionary tactics and daring strategies to transform v4 hooks into a developer sensation!

What you’ll do

• Developer Growth & Support: You will set the strategic growth vision for Uniswap from a devloper’s perspective, and do so in a way that resonates in the industry as innovative, daring, and at times, radical. You will need to create new developer programs that position Uniswap in the broader ecosystem around thought leadership, content and evangelism.
• Grassroots Community Expansion: You recognize that bloodline for Web3 is being community-led developer expansion. You will need to create in-person/virtual campaigns to recruit world class developer advocates around the globe. You’ll play a player and coach to nurture and grow communities with the help of regional leaders.
• Developer Events / Hackathons: You will be the lead for our hackathon and developer events strategy. Recognizing the right opportunities, partnerships and moments for Uniswap in the wider context of Web3.
• Content Creation: The success of Uniswap is tied to builders building hooks, or ecosystem tooling which need compelling industry-moving stories. You’ll need to lead diverse teams internally and externally to create developer facing content that can appeal to new builders

What you bring to the table

• Substantial software engineering experience, with the ability to build productively with all of the popular onchain libraries. You’ll be coding at least 25% of the time.
• Have a dank GitHub and strong evidences of developer content library
• Comfortable getting into technical topics and whipping out developer content that can inspire the broader community
• Experience with building and participating in onchain communities that are focused on creating public goods and funding creators to build
• Comfortable being an individual contributor as well as a manager/strategist
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, occasionally uncertain setting with limited supervision
• Ability to travel to global hackathons and events

• Can you develop and execute on a strategy to build grassroots developer communities across the globe?
• Do you get excited about nerd sniping on several DeFi verticals and topics, while also working broadly across messaging and positioning of the project?
• Can you run live demos / workshops to inspire the next generation of DeFi developers & innovation?
• Do you want to embrace the frontier of doing things that no one has tried before and experiment with bold social media strategies?
