About the Role

The BTI360 College Hire Program is hiring the next generation of teammates! We're currently hiring the best and brightest interns to work for us during the summer of 2025. We work to mentor you and develop your skills in the tools and practices highly desired by our industry. Please note: our expectation is that interns will join BTI360 after graduation in supporting our customers in the Northern Virginia area.

As a member of the BTI360 College Hire Program, you will acquire valuable experience with cutting-edge software development tools and practices and gain leadership skills through mentoring by our senior engineers. Throughout the summer, you and your fellow interns will work as a team to develop an analytic-based web application. While you'll have a product owner to help guide you through the development process, most of the decisions involving design, tech stack, and more are made by you and your team.

Our past projects have included apps specializing in advanced search, sentiment analysis, text analytics and more. The last class built a system for organizing open-source data by leveraging a custom knowledge graph. They started development in June and by August were prototyping the demo of their app to our whole team. They got experience using Angular with Tailwind (UI), Java and Spring Boot (Backend), AWS Neptune (Database), Serverless, various Amazon Web Services (Infrastructure) and more!

You might thrive in this role if you:

• Meet U.S. citizenship requirements
• Currently major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Graduate between December 2025 and May 2026
• Have experience with at least one modern programming language (Java, Python or C/C++)
• Are knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, object oriented design, algorithms, etc.
• Desire to develop and apply technical and interpersonal skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Possess strong communication skills
• Meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. security clearance
• Desire to work in the Northern Virginia area

You will excel in this role if you have also these skills:

• Previous technical internship experience
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, challenges and solutions
• Hold an active U.S. security clearance
