Systems/Cloud Engineer

North Point Technology is looking for TS/SCI Cleared Systems/Cloud Engineer to support a critical mission out of Littleton, CO and King of Prussia, PA. This team is responsible for building AWS cloud infrastructure, Developing and Implementing EM/CND solutions and integrating advanced software applications for a diverse user community.

As a Systems/Cloud Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing new and existing features to improve Enterprise Management and Cyber Network Defense in support of customer security compliance requirements.
• Deploy and integrate software using continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Perform operations and sustainment on multiple domains to include user account management, server/application patching, and system health monitoring from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Console to maintain critical cyber security accreditations and system availability requirements..

Basic Qualifications:

• Understanding of agile software development, Linux or Windows systems administration, cloud architecture, and/or ELK stack development and administration.
• CompTIA Security+
• Current Active TS/SCI required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with a poly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ansible and Terraform or shell scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with COTS/FOSS installs and integration (Common applications include Elasticsearch, Kibana, Oracle/SQL Databases, and Docker).
• Experience or interest in managing AWS infrastructure such as provisioning Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) instances, backing up Elastic Block Storage (EBS) volumes, controlling access to Simple Storage Service (S3) buckets, or configuring relational database services (RDS).
• Experience developing visualizations, dashboards, and reports with Kibana.
• Experience managing and administering Trellix policies and agents.
• Familiarity with standard DOD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditations.
• Experience trouble-shooting software and infrastructure issues and responding to user helpdesk tickets.
