As a Product Designer, what are you going to do?

• Work within the Product Experience team on a variety of platforms and products (mobile, web-based, self-service solutions, desktop apps);
• Work directly with the product team and engineering (software and hardware) counterparts in launching features/products;
• Be a highly collaborative and active member of your design with product and development teams;
• Revise your designs based on design reviews, usability testing, A/B testing, and customer support feedback;
• Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product;
• Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming;
• Suggest improvements to design and performance to product engineers;
• Employ design concepts into functional prototypes;
• Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts;
• Coordinate with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase;
• Being an advocate of design systems and design ops tools;
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations.

What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?

• 5+ years experience in product design with an emphasis on designing desktop apps;
• Experience assimilating customer feedback received through user research, user feedback, user testing, etc. (extra special bonus points if you were involved in the study!);
• Experience running design sprints and workshops is a plus;
• Portfolio examples of complex design challenges highlighting your end-to-end design process from concept through pixel-perfect designs;
• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal;
• Experience creating functional prototypes and working closely with product management and dev teams to implement your design solutions;
• Good understanding of color science and combinations;
• Proficient with a wide arsenal of design software packages and tools (Figma, Protopie, and Adobe tools, etc.);
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Meticulous and diligent;
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends;
• Flexibility to travel.
