Technical Data Engineer

Summary:

This is a combined role as part of the site Order Engineering team handling technical administration and KPI reporting combined with creating Engineering Bills of Material items master and Solidworks drawing modifications as a first step on the engineering career road map. The incumbent reports to the Order Engineering Manager.

Standard Accountabilities

• Complete bill of material variations for “manufacture to order” products
• Develop completed bill of materials for all “engineering to order” products as required to release order to production
• Prepare and release instructions, routing cards and other documentation to business unit operations.
• Prepare job specific Installation, Operation Manual
• Maintain and create item masters
• Prepare advanced procurement notices

Key Performance Indicators

• Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gather approval at the first issue
• Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy and timeliness of customer documentation
• Provide rework or resubmittal documentation in agreed-upon cycles to obtain approvals.

Additional responsibilities:

• Administrative support to Engineering Department and Manager.
• Preparation of engineering reports and KPI’s
• Preparation and management of eng department databases.
• Engineering SharePoint administrator
• ECN administration
