Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute detailed test plans for system level testing.
• Create test scripts; execute and/or engage with other testing resources to execute test scripts
• Identify, record, and track bugs in Jira throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development team.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a System Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Jira, confluence)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills
