As a Web Designer & Developer you will utilize your creative and technical expertise to conceptualize, design, build, and enhance customer and prospect-facing websites. You will also play a strategic role in planning, managing, and optimizing digital marketing efforts that drive business results.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user experience and the ability to efficiently create websites that are both user-friendly and compliant with design standards and specifications. A keen eye for clean, artful design is essential, as well as experience in building sites using platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Squarespace, or similar. Additionally, exceptional communication, organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and business partners to develop creative solutions and translate those solutions through a variety of channels.
  • Concept and design clean, purposeful web interfaces, that are intuitive and user friendly and allow audiences to engage rapidly and take the intended action.
  • Work with design & content teams to concept and complete assigned projects and campaigns according to brand guidelines.
  • Serve as a technical lead to execute and monitor SEO and SEM technical initiatives. web performance optimization, A/B testing methodologies, and data analytics.
  • Effectively oversee the work of freelancers or third-party contractors and vendors.
  • Support the integration of our websites with marketing and CRM platforms, such as Salesforce & HubSpot, ensuring data flows seamlessly between systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of web design experience working in an agency, design firm, or in-house creative department.
  • Formal training and/or college degree in web design or programming.
  • Proven work experience as a web designer.
  • Demonstrable web design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience in creating site outlines, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Experience in design and development of new interfaces and wireframes for users.
  • Proficiency in website publishing platforms HubSpot, WordPress, Squarespace, etc.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Advanced understanding of web security practices & compliance
  • Up to date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies, including the use of AI tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices for SEO and SEM and proven success incorporating into new and existing web sites.
  • Experience taking web sites live and connecting domain and hosting platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail & ability to generate metric-driven insight & strategies.
  • Proactive, with the ability to work well independently and as part of the team.
  • Possess solid listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to organize and prioritize work across a team of contributors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology integrations, including CRM, web analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Multimedia content development experience and use of video editing tools such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, Vimeo, or similar.
  • Experience in healthcare/wellness industries.
  • Knowledge and use of project management tools such as Monday.com and Basecamp.

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Remote
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed
  • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor
