Frontend Developer

Play a major role in the digital transformation of Nilfisk as our new Frontend Developer!

As a front-end developer you will work to further extend the capabilities of the platform by transforming UX/UI designs into real solutions used by thousands of our customers.

This includes integrating modern and headless solutions such as Search(Algolia), CMS, PIM, etc. along with enterprise grade systems such as ERP – both of which require different strategies for integration.

In addition, you will play a central role in the daily support of our users and ensuring a stable operation of the platform.

Your focus will be on to:

• Implement new solutions and enhancement on the Nilfisk Customer Experience Platform by:
  • Developing front-end solutions to meet business demands.
  • Customizing existing OOTB solutions to meet business requirements that support our global processes and development guidelines.
  • QA and testing before releasing for business testing.
  • Supporting business during their testing as well as during both technical and business deployment
• Ensure all changes released on the platform meet our high-quality standards:
  • Taking responsibility for the outcome of all technical releases
  • Ensuring technical changes/enhancements have been developed, tested, and documented according to our defined standards.
  • Perform code and document reviews.
  • Ensuring that our dev/test/production environments are updated and used according to our guidelines.
• Earn a role as a trusted partner to your colleagues in business and IT:
  • Engage in close sparring with Product Owner/Business SMEs/Scrum Master/Technical Lead to propose technical solutions.
  • Deliver solutions as planned and releasing them to our business colleagues thoroughly tested.

The ideal candidate has:

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and NodeJS.
• 2+ years’ experience developing front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• A knack for good design and attention to detail with a solid understanding of the principles of responsive design.
• Experience with front-end build pipelines.
• Solid understanding of REST API consumption methods and types.

Advantage if knowledge in:

• Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.js and Nuxt.
• Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud.
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Experience with MACH architectures.
• Experience with systems often integrated into ecommerce (CMS, PIM, DAM, Search, etc).
