Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeAs a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing services for the cloud platform, principally Azure, and accelerator patterns as part of the Cloud Services Team (CST) demonstrating technical capability and good practice in automation and tooling. As a member of CST you'll be part of a globally dispersed team working flexibly to support incidents and changes in alignment with business priorities. The CST work to a remote first principle and work life balance. The role reports to the Cloud Engineer - Team Leader.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 0-1 year relevant experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills

• Basic knowledge, experience and understanding of major DevOps tools, automation technologies and tools, automated testing skills, software security skills
•Customer centric mindset
•Strong understanding of developer-centre tools when operating cloud
•Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Experience

• 1-year relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer delivering sustainable and scalable application/infrastructure using Agile
•Basic knowledge, experience and understanding of Infrastructure as code (IaC); preferably Terraform
•Experience working with a variety of program languages (Python, Go or PowerShell)
•Experience delivering new services or features via an agile DevOps approach, Microsoft Azure platform, Information security for the cloud (firewalls)
•Good practices in coding and automation processes and ways of working
•Agile tools, Kanban boards, Wiki
•Azure DevOps pipelines
•Industry trends and latest thinking on cloud platform, automation, coding patterns and components

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

• Microsoft Certification : AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
•Relevant Microsoft Azure trainings attended: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps

Preferred Knowledge

• Basic knowledge and understanding of AWS and GCP
