Our challenge

The team is seeking a collaborative, hands-on Java developer This is a rapidly growing and high-priority area, and the growth in users and use-cases.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of Java developers and ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems
• Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation

Requirements:

You are:

• Comfortable with Java 8 features such as Lambda, functional interface
• Minimum 10 years experience in Java programming
• Comfortable with multithreaded code understanding, and occasional implementation
• Good experience with Springboot and Microservices
• Comfortable with Spring, Camel, RDBMS concepts in general, JMS
• Comfortable with enterprise applications implemented using Java, microservices architecture
• Technically sound and comfortable with going through the existing code and be a quick starter
• Capability to work as individual contributor as well as teamwork

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with banking domain
