Manufacturing Safety Engineer

• Work closely with engineering, facilities, and construction teams to ensure safety is at the heart of all factory and facility designs.
• Ensure installations and CDM activity is carried out in a safe manner.
• Support site installation teams during build/installation/buy off phases.
• Support machine and manufacturing line concept reviews to ensure all health and safety aspects are adhered too.
• Review site plans and layout proposals regarding to Health and Safety
• Take a pro-active approach to Health and Safety, and strive to improve adherence across all areas of the business, and outside the business such as contractors and OEM’s.
• Advise and enforce health and safety measures during installation.

Requirements

• Proven History of delivering/assisting with H&S in a manufacturing environment.
• A member of a recognised professional body.
• NEBOSH qualified, preferable
